A dynamic and versatile midfielder, James (Full name Olujimi James Olayinka) made his Premier League 2 debut at the start of 2018/19 as an 17-year-old, and went on to make a further 12 appearances, assisting twice.
His best performance of the season arrived in our 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur at Emirates Stadium, where he dominated the midfield for 90 minutes and teed up Tyreece John-Jules for the winner. With bags of energy and a professional attitude, James has also showcased his talent as a right back and right winger. He remains eligible to play for both England and Nigeria at youth level.
