James Hopkins

Irish inside forward James Hopkins joined Arsenal from Belfast in 1919 and went on to make 22 senior appearances for the Club, scoring seven goals.

With first-team opportunities on the wane, Hopkins moved to Brighton and Hove Albion, for whom he made more than 200 appearances in a six-year stint.

Hopkins made his Ireland debut while at Brighton and went on to finish his career at Aldershot.
