David Neave made 168 appearances for Arsenal in two separate spells with the Club.
The Scottish left winger contributed 32 goals after joining from Arbroath in 1904.
His first spell didn't go as he might have planned. The form of Charlie Satterthwaite and Bobby Templeton restricted Neave to just three appearances and he left for Leyton at the end of his first campaign.
But in December 1905 he returned and made 18 appearances for the Gunners before the season was out. He scored a brace against Preston on his 'second debut', a 2-2 draw, and added a further four goals that term.
The following season he played 33 times and his four goals included a match-winning double at home to Liverpool.
He was a regular until summer 1910, when John Flanagan arrived to add to the competition provided by Charlie Lewis.
Neave remained with Arsenal until 1912 when he was transferred to Merthyr Town, a now extinct Welsh club who played in the English league.
