Dave Bacuzzi

When Ron Greenwood left Eastbourne United to become assistant manager at Arsenal in 1957, young right-back Dave Bacuzzi followed.

Son of Fulham favourite Joe, Dave initially joined as an amateur but signed professional terms with the Club in 1959. However, his First Division debut came almost two years later against Fulham in February 1961.

Throughout his Highbury sojourn, Bacuzzi contested the right-black slot with Jimmy Magill and made just 48 starts in his six-year spell. He also helped Arsenal Reserves to the Football Combination in 1962/63.

A year later, Bacuzzi signed for Manchester City and featured in their Second Division triumph in 1965/66 before moving onto Reading.

The full-back finished his career at Cork Hibs, where he was player-manager.
