Anthony Stokes featured for just two minutes as an Arsenal first-team player before leaving to make his name in Scotland.
Stokes joined Arsenal's academy as a highly-rated youngster and made early inroads at reserve level as a promising and prolific striker.
But the young Irishman made just one appearance under Arsene Wenger - as a late substitute in a 3-0 League Cup victory over Sunderland in the 2005/06 season.
Stoke never quite hit it off in north London but his career took an upward turn after joining Falkirk on loan the following campaign. He scored 14 goals in 16 Scottish Premier League appearances to earn himself a permanent move to Sunderland in 2007.
The Republic of Ireland international helped the Black Cats win promotion back to the top flight before playing in the Premier League - if only in a bit-part role.
Brief loan spells with Sheffield United and Crystal Palace followed but by this point a move back to Scotland was his best option. Stokes linked up with former Falkirk manager John Hughes at Hibernian, where he scored 22 league goals in only 40 appearances.
That form resulted in a move to Celtic, where he signed a four-year deal in 2010.
