WHAT HAPPENED
Two goals each from Danielle Carter and Beth Mead saw us ease past Yeovil Town to move into third place in the Women's Super League.
We came into this game having beaten the same opponents when we travelled to Somerset a week ago in the Women's FA Cup.
Mead was on target in that game, and she started off brightly again - indeed it was her burst into the box and cutback that allowed Carter to open the scoring in the 37th minute.
Mead was proving a real handful and, after a mazy run, she got herself on the scoresheet after the break when she curled the ball in.
The third came on 71 minutes, Carter heading Lisa Evans’ cross in at the back post.
The victory was wrapped up when Jordan Nobbs’ free-kick was parried by Megan Walsh and Mead was on hand to tap home our fourth of the afternoon.
