Jack Wilshere’s young Gunners continued their impressive goalscoring form with a convincing 5-2 win over Fulham.

In what was a very young side, our team encountered challenges early on as we were compelled to make two substitutions due to unfortunate injuries sustained by Sam Chapman and Seb Ferdinand.

Shortly thereafter, we took the lead from the penalty spot, capitalising on Max Dowman's incisive play that drew a foul in the box. Chido Martin Obi, who scored four goals in last week’s 8-3 win, confidently converted the spot-kick from 12 yards out.

Our second goal arrived swiftly, with Dowman once again showcasing his craft by drifting past defenders to set up Martin Obi and give us a comfortable two-goal advantage.

The first half concluded with a flurry of goals as both teams exhibited their attacking prowess. Fulham managed to pull one back through Macauley Zepa, but our momentum was quickly restored as Martin Obi completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot after being fouled. However, in a swift response, the visitors found the net once more as Anand Batra capitalised on a close-range opportunity.

On the hour mark, we reinstated our two-goal advantage as Dowman orchestrated a penetrating run through the Fulham midfield, cleverly finding Louis Zecevic John, who emphatically buried the ball into the net.

In the dying moments of the game, Martin Obi solidified his stellar performance by notching his fourth goal, this time with a well-timed header from Dowman's corner delivery. This goal made it back-to-back games in which Martin Obi has scored four goals.

The results mean we leapfrog our opponents and move up to fourth place with 31 points from 17 games played.
