The area outside the Armoury Store has been transformed thanks to the many thousands of supporters' messages engraved on to granite stones in the ground. There are over 18,000 stones surrounding 11 Legends' benches that together act as a permanent celebration of the club, the fans and the players.
Arsenalisation: Armoury Square plays a part
Armoury Square was created to give supporters the opportunity to have a permanent place in Arsenal history by creating a lasting tribute to all the players and supporters, past and present that have made Arsenal the team we love.
Over the last few years, Arsenal supporters have demonstrated their enthusiasm for the development and the opportunity to be involved. Allowing fans to choose their personal messages on the stones have highlighted the diverse relationships that supporters have with the club. As well as being used to record birthdays, anniversaries and family memories we've even had eight marriage proposals set in stone!

Arsenalisation:
"Our players, supporters and staff are immensely proud of Emirates Stadium, and by taking steps to illustrate and celebrate our rich history, we cement its place as not only the best stadium in the country but, more importantly, our home."
Armoury Square:
"We wanted the fans to have their space, where they can have their own personal messages and be a permanent part of the stadium. The interest for Armoury Square has been incredible. As a consequence, we've had to expand the project further than we initially envisaged."
Arsenal Legend Charlie George...
"To have a bench with my name on at Emirates stadium, and be surrounded by all these wonderful and dedicated supporters, what more could I ask for?"
