'Ozil can score when he wants'

Mesut Ozil scored his third goal of the season in stunning fashion as the Gunners made it six wins in a row with a 3-2 victory over Swansea on Saturday.

The Germany international followed up strikes against Watford and Chelsea with a sumptuous volley at Emirates Stadium - and now the boss wants to see more in the coming weeks and months.

“Mesut has that in the locker you know,” he told Arsenal Player. “When you see him finish like that, you think ‘Come on my friend - do it more often!’ because in training he scores, it’s very difficult to read for the keepers and he scores when he wants.

“And we want him to take more opportunities. There was an opportunity in the first half where he didn’t even hit the ball well and after he scores a fantastic goal.

“I think it’s coming. It’s coming and I hope these kind of goals give him the taste to do more. He has celebrated his birthday in a great way today.”
