Elton Monteiro scored an 88th-minute equaliser to earn the Under-18s a 2-2 draw with Cardiff on Saturday morning.
Jesse Darko opened the scoring on 22 minutes and only Sean McDermott’s penalty save stopped the hosts taking a 2-0 lead before the break.
Philip Roberts levelled things with his first goal of the season after 68 minutes but Cardiff looked to have snatched the three points when Kevin Saint-Luce netted with just four minutes remaining.
But young defender Monteiro ensured a share of the spoils in Wales.
