The 10 shirts worn by outfield players in our Emirates FA Cup tie against Nottingham Forest have been gifted to organisations doing work in the community to address some of the root causes of knife crime and youth violence.

The white shirts were presented by Ian Wright ahead of our Premier League match against Burnley on Sunday.

“These organisations are doing consistent, important work in our local community,” said Wrighty. “Every young person deserves the opportunity to express themselves.

"The opportunity to exist within a safe environment. The opportunity to live free from fear of violence. It’s so important that we all work together to create a better environment for young people and support those who are going above and beyond to make a positive difference.

“It was a privilege to meet the 10 organisations and learn more about the important work they do. By listening, learning and working together, we can play our part and make a difference to young people in London.”

The white shirt is a symbol of positivity in the community. It will never be for sale and it will only be given to individuals and organisations who are giving back to the community and creating a positive environment for young people.
