Our Under-18s are set to play their final pre-season match before the new season kicks off. They'll be facing Hendon on Tuesday, August 6, with the game scheduled to start at 7.30pm (UK time) at Silver Jubilee Park.
We aim to conclude our pre-season preparations on a high note following a 1-0 defeat to Hitchin Town on Saturday.
Opponent Spotlight: Hendon
Last season, Hendon finished 10th in the Southern Football League. However, for the 2024/25 season, Hendon will be moving laterally back into the Isthmian League Premier Division as part of the FA’s 2024/25 Step 3 allocations.
The Greens have already played ten pre-season games, with a record of five wins, four losses, and one draw. Their most recent match ended in a close 3-2 loss to Concord Rangers on Saturday. This game will also serve as their final pre-season fixture before starting their league campaign at home against Bowers & Pitsea on Saturday, August 10.
The last time we faced Hendon in a pre-season match was before our 2022/23 campaign, resulting in a 1-1 draw.
