Arsenal.com is delighted to announce its e-mail newsletter has been selected as an Official Honouree in The 17th Annual Webby Awards in the ‘E-mail Newsletters’ category.
Considered to be the Oscars for the online community, the Webbys have selected Arsenal’s weekly e-mail to its supporters, as an initiative which deserves special recognition.

Sent to more than 525,000 Arsenal fans across the world who have pre-registered on the website, the e-newsletter sums up the week on and off the pitch at Arsenal Football Club.
Redesigned before the start of the season in 2011/12, the Club’s weekly round-up features more content and has a streamlined look and feel design-wise. The e-newsletter incorporates content from across the Arsenal digital platforms including its social arms, the latest video from Arsenal Player and a weekly fan poll.
The weekly e-mail newsletter also has slots for Club partner and commercial promotion to allow official products, services and partners to connect directly to supporters.

"The redesign at the start of last season breathed new life in the newsletter to incorporate more content and promotion for our partners. It has proved to be very popular. Huge credit should go to our operations and editorial teams for making such a positive change.”
