Confederations Cup: How did Alexis do?

Alexis in action for Chile at the Confederations Cup

The Confederations Cup kicked off this weekend - and there's likely to be considerable Arsenal involvement over the next fortnight.

Alexis' Chile began their campaign on Sunday - and here's how they got on:

Our No 7 came off the bench to help inspire La Roja to an opening-matchday victory over Cameroon. Alexis was introduced just before the hour and created Arturo Vidal's 81st-minute opener, delivering a fine cross for the Bayern Munich midfielder to head home. Eduardo Vargas added a second just before the final whistle.

Chile's next match is against Shkodran Mustafi's Germany on Thursday.
