“We've learnt a lot over the past few years,” Koscielny said. “This season we have more confidence and the team has played well, had some good results and sometimes when we did not have a good feeling in games it is harder but we won 1-0.
“We have a lot of quality players here, we have people with quality passing like Cazorla and Ozil and we are more like a group, a unit. Everyone fights for each other, no one is playing for themselves.
“We are a team that wants to play offensively but you need to do the defensive job - everyone knows this and works together to win back the ball high up the pitch.
“We had some good results because we won the ball back quickly and after that we can give some danger to our opponents. But the most difficult thing is to keep this over the whole season.
“We are in a good position we need to keep this because every game is different. We want to play our football with passing and movement, with three or four players combining, but sometimes it is difficult.
“The most important thing is the result and if we can have that combined with the quality of our game, it is even better.”
