Chuba Akpom, Calum Chambers and Rob Holding have been named in Gareth Southgate’s England U-21s squad to face Norway in a Euro 2017 qualifier next month.

The Young Lions boss has named a 24-man squad for the fixture, which will take place on September 6 on home soil.

Chuba Akpom is a late addition to the squad, replacing the injured Dominic Solanke. The striker has three goals in four caps.

Chambers has so far accumulated 14 caps at U-21 level, while Holding could pick up his third cap if selected by Southgate.
