Arsene Wenger says Rob Holding can make the step up if he makes his Premier League debut on Sunday.
The summer signing from Bolton Wanderers is in the frame to face Liverpool with Per Mertesacker and Gabriel ruled out by injury. Laurent Koscielny is not yet match fit.

“I have a few [defensive] options that we have seen in pre-season,” said Wenger. “That is basically the players we have available at the moment, who are quite young but have a great desire to do well.
“[Rob Holding] played in the Championship and that is a good experience [to deal with one level higher], to have played in the Championship.”
