We’ve partnered with Islington Giving to support a number of powerful and effective projects across Islington to help make a difference to the lives of more young people.
Islington Giving are an independent group of funders, businesses, residents and voluntary organisations working together to tackle poverty and inequality in Islington.
We all want Islington to be a place where everyone – regardless of circumstance – has the opportunity and means to live a fulfilled life.
They focus on:
- Investing in young people
- Supporting families
- Reaching isolated people
- Their support to local people
Just like The Arsenal Foundation, they make grants to voluntary organisations which provide support and activities.
Through our partnership, we are reaching out to more young people by offering them a supportive and motivating network.

Breakin’ Convention
Breakin’ Convention presents a young people’s Hip Hop theatre project. Following a series of taster sessions led by active Hip Hop artists in the UK music scene, the young people will specialise in creating a piece of Hip Hop Theatre written, directed and performed by themselves, facilitated by mentors, that will be presented at Breakin Convention’s Festival at Sadler’s Wells Theatre in 2018.
