Janni Arnth has won titles in Denmark and Sweden - and now she has got her heart set on lifting trophies in England, too.
The experienced Dane is also her country’s vice-captain, but what is she hoping to add to our squad?
“I’m a central defender who is defensively and offensively minded,” Arnth told Arsenal.com. “I like to contribute with my passing skills and help the team sitting up a good build up play.
“I put a lot of energy and concentration on the pitch and communicate a lot to help in bringing a good structure to the team, so with my experience I feel like I can help the team to control the game as much as possible.
“I’m fully committed to what I’m doing, I’m a dedicated person and I just love being a footballer. I’m a loyal person and my everyday approach is to always be professional – no excuses. I just want to do the best for the team and help to solve whatever challenges come our way, on and off the pitch.
“I’ve been following Arsenal and I have been watching some of their games. I could see that they have something interesting going on with the environment and the way of playing - and now you can see that they’re getting the results. I think it’s a really interesting project and club. I know some of the players here and I’ve played against them before, and I think there is a lot of quality and potential in the team.
“I played with Jessica Samuelsson for some years in Linkopings. I really liked playing with her and have her as a teammate. I really look forward to play with her again.”
