Germany international defender Josephine Henning has returned to the club.
The experienced 27-year-old helped us lift the 2016 Women's FA Cup last year, before joining Olympique Lyonnais at the end of the 2016 Women's Super League season, helping the team to win a historic treble.
She has an impressive record, having won the Frauen-Bundesliga four times and the UEFA Women's Champions League on three occasions whilst playing with Turbine Potsdam and VFL Wolfsburg.
Josephine went on to sign for Paris Saint-Germain in 2014, where she helped them reach the 2015 UEFA Women's Champions League final.
To add to her achievements, within her first spell with us, Josephine won an gold medal with Germany in the 2016 Women's Olympic Football Tournament in Brazil.

Josephine added: "I'm very happy to be back at Arsenal. I have unfinished business here and I can’t wait to get started. As ever, we want to win trophies here and I'm going to work hard to help the club reach those goals."
