Gio Queiroz has returned to Arsenal following her loan spell at fellow Barclays Women’s Super League side Everton.
Gio joined Everton ahead of the start of the 2022/23 season and made a total of 11 appearances during her time on Merseyside, scoring one goal.
She will now remain with Arsenal for the rest of the 2022/23 campaign, wearing the No.20 shirt.
The 19-year-old Brazil international joined us from Barcelona in the summer of 2022, following a loan spell at Levante during which she scored 11 goals in 31 appearances.
Gio was also part of the Brazil squad that won the 2022 Copa America title and will link up with national team captain Rafaelle Souza here at Arsenal.
Everyone at Arsenal would like to welcome Gio back to the club and looks forward to seeing her in red and white soon.
