Emery - More to come from Aubameyang

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice in our 4-2 win over Vorskla Poltava on Thursday night, but Unai Emery believes the best is still to come.

The Gabonese forward has found the net 13 times in 18 appearances since joining us in January and has already established himself as a fan favourite at Emirates Stadium.

"We have started playing with our style with Aubameyang," Emery said. "He needs also confidence, but he needs to continue finding his best performance.

"I also have a lot of confidence in Lacazette, but also Welbeck and Nketiah. They are our strikers.

"I am going to work with them and give them my confidence and our work is to do one collective work to give them the best possibilities in the attacking moments to score.

"The players played like we want [against Vorskla] and we take more minutes and Sunday, I think, we have a big range of options to choose the best first 11. I think we also have players to help them after the start of the match.

"I am very happy to have these strikers for us."

Aubameyang is our October Player of the Month

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - yes, yes, yes

Congratulations to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the overwhelming winner of our October Player of the Month poll.

The 29-year-old was in fine form, scoring five times as we won five and drew one of our six games over the course of the month.

Aubameyang struck a brace after coming off the bench against Fulham, and then repeated the trick against Leicester City, the second of which is bound to be a contender for Goal of the Season.

He was also on target in the 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Pierre received 55 per cent of the votes cast with Mesut Ozil and Alex Lacazette finishing in second and third place respectively.
