Declan Rice has been voted as our men’s Player of the Month for April after our supporters deemed his displays worthy of the accolade.
The midfielder collected a whopping 68% of the votes to come out on top ahead of Jakub Kiwior, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli to scoop the award after a stellar month in our colours.
Declan started all eight of our matches and was involved in four goals as we made it into the semi-finals of the Champions League as well as put in superb displays to beat Fulham and Ipswich Town in the Premier League.
Those included his two incredible free-kicks against Real Madrid during our 3-0 success against the European champions at Emirates Stadium - amazingly the first successful dead-ball strikes of his career in 339 previous games, ensuring his first ever brace will live long in the memory for all Gooners.
The England man also picked up a pair of assists during the month, setting up Thomas Partey against Brentford as well as Trossard at Ipswich, taking his tally to 17 goal involvements for the campaign, which he has since added to following his effort against Bournemouth on the weekend.
It is Declan’s second club Player of the Month accolade, but his first since his debut month when he topped our poll in August 2023 after an impressive first month following his move from West Ham United.
