Abou Diaby joins the Arsenal 100 Club

Abou Diaby

Abou Diaby became the latest member of our prestigious 100 Club, after he announced his retirement from football this week.

The former France international played 180 times for us, including 124 Premier League games, and scored 19 goals during his nine years in north London.

Persistent injuries robbed Diaby of regular playing time but the midfielder still gave us plenty of moments to savour in N5.

An outstanding performance in the 2007 League Cup final, a magnificent display at Anfield in 2012, and stunning goals against Aston Villa and Derby County.

Diaby will now be formally enrolled into the 100 Club. All members receive specially-designed red and white ties, and will have access to an ongoing official forum to engage with Arsenal, and regular opportunities to attend matches at Emirates Stadium and official club events.

Congratulations, Abou!
