International career 68 caps for Spain, 24 goals

Spanish international forward Mariona became our first signing of the summer transfer window when she joined the club on a free transfer following ten trophy-laden years with Barcelona. Versatile, strong and technically superb, she is a proven winner who can play in midfield or anywhere across the front line and is renowned for her crossing, creativity and finishing – she netted a personal best 18 times last season (ten of them in Liga F, to go with nine assists) to finish her Barcelona career with 105 goals in 295 appearances.

A big-game player of the highest order, Mariona has already had an illustrious career with 25 trophies to her name: three Champions Leagues, six Liga F titles, six Spanish Cups, four Spanish Super Cups and six Catalan Cups. She has been present for all five of Barca’s Champions League finals, including the most recent victory over Lyon, where she played for 90 minutes to complete the treble.

A full international since 2017, the Mallorca-born forward made her international debut in 2017 and was a key player as Spain won the 2023 World Cup and 2024 Nations League, scoring in the 2-0 win over France in the final of the latter.
