Last season was one of great progress for talented midfield prospect Kyra, who made 34 appearances in all competitions, starting regularly during the first half of the season and scoring her first goal for the club in a 4-0 League Cup win at Brighton in January 2025. She was a hot property when Arsenal swooped to make her our fifth and final signing of the 2023 summer transfer window, and the Australian enjoyed a promising first season in English football, making 23 appearances and impressing with her dynamic running, clever movement and incisive, accurate passing.
She began her professional career at Melbourne Victory, where she made her debut at the age of 15 and enjoyed two spells either side of a season at Western Sydney Wanderers in 2019/20. She also won the Australian W-League title in 2020/21 – scoring the winner direct from a corner in the last minute of extra time in the Grand Final – and 2021/22. Kyra moved to Europe with Hammarby IF in 2022, making 30 appearances and winning the Swedish Cup.
She made her Australia debut against Denmark in June 2021 and started all seven games in Australia’s run to the semi-finals of the 2023 World Cup.
