Team news: Jesus fit to start against Leeds

Gabriel Jesus celebrates scoring against Tottenham

Gabriel Jesus is fit for this afternoon’s game against Leeds United at Elland Road, allowing Mikel Arteta to name the same side that beat Liverpool seven days ago.

The Brazilian was a doubt after needing treatment in that match and missing the trip to Norway in midweek, but our top scorer is back to lead the line in Yorkshire as we go looking for a seventh straight win in all competitions.

Takehiro Tomiyasu continues at left-back with Oleksandr Zinchenko still unavailable, while William Saliba, Ben White, Martin Odegaard and Thursday’s matchwinner Bukayo Saka are the sole survivors who also started the 1-0 win against Bodo/Glimt on Thursday.

Jesse Marsch meanwhile has made one change to his side that lost 2-1 to Crystal Palace last time out, with Patrick Bamford dropping to the bench and replaced by Luis Sinisterra, who returns to the line-up after sitting out one match due to his red card against Aston Villa.

Leeds: Meslier, Kristensen, Koch, Cooper, Struijk, Adams, Roca, Aaronson, Rodrigo, Harrison, Sinisterra. Subs: Klaesson, Ayling, Firpo, Llorente, Klich, Summerville, Greenwood, Gelhardt, Bamford.

Arsenal: Ramsdale, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Tomiyasu, Partey, Xhaka, Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Jesus. Subs: Turner, Tierney, Soares, Holding, Lokonga, Vieira, Nelson, Marquinhos, Nketiah.
