A tireless runner and deadly finisher, Stina wrote her name into Arsenal folklore by scoring the late goal against Barcelona that clinched a historic victory in the UEFA Champions League final. Although her tally of ten goals in 2024/25 was a step down from 18 in each of her previous two campaigns, the Swedish striker enhanced her reputation as a big-game player with a knack of scoring at crucial moments – she also netted the winner against Chelsea in the 2024 League Cup final and scored a late winner at home to Manchester City as well as both goals in a 2-1 victory away to the same opponents in the WSL in the penultimate game of the 2023/24 season.
She joined the club in January 2022 from Swedish club BK Hacken, where she won both the league and cup and finished as the league’s top scorer in her final season with 17 goals in 21 appearances.
A Sweden international with more than 100 caps, she helped her country to the semi-finals at both Euro 2022 and the 2023 World Cup, and scored her first international hat-trick in a 6-1 UEFA Nations League win over Denmark just before heading to Euro 2025.
