Gnabry - We have to play our normal game

Serge Gnabry is confident Arsenal will win their FA Cup semi-final against Wigan as long as they relax and play their “normal game” at Wembley.

The Gunners go into the match against the holders as favourites to progress to their first final since winning the trophy in 2005.

Arsene Wenger’s side have had a dip in form in recent weeks, but Gnabry is convinced they will be able to turn on the style on Saturday.

"We should be favourites and if we play our normal game, there should be no doubt that we can win it"

“It would mean a lot [to progress],” he told Arsenal Player. “Since we won the game against Everton and moved on to the semi-finals, I have been thinking about it a lot. It is a chance for us to win a trophy this year, and we have a pretty good opportunity.

“It is going to be difficult, though. Wigan will do their best to win the game as well to get another shock in against a Premier League team.

“It is going to be a fight but we should face it as any other normal match: don’t be scared because they are in the [Championship].

“We should be favourites and if we play our normal game, there should be no doubt that we can win it.”
