Dutch international goalkeeper Daphne enjoyed a stellar first season in north London, keeping 14 clean sheets in 24 appearances and finishing with ten in the WSL, despite only starting 15 league games. The athletic shot-stopper had to wait until our sixth game of the season, at Leicester City, to make her debut, but kept a clean sheet in a 1-0 win and featured heavily from that point on, only missing games late in the season after picking up an injury on international duty. She was present for the 4-1 win at Lyon, however, and returned for the UEFA Champions League final, in which she was immense against Barcelona.

Known for her quick reflexes, ball-handling skills and ability to play out from the back, Daphne joined the club in July 2024 after impressing during a single season at Aston Villa and having been nominated for the Ballon d’Or in 2023. Before moving to England she won eight trophies, including three league titles, in three seasons with Dutch club FC Twente, and has become a regular at international level since making her senior debut in 2022.

She starred for her country at Euro 2022, and again at both the 2023 World Cup and Euro 2025.
