The youngest player ever to represent our men’s first team when he came on against Brentford in September 2022 aged 15 (also becoming the youngest player in Premier League history in the process), attacking midfielder Ethan gained more first-team experience last term. He came on during our 6-0 win at West Ham in February, having been on the bench regularly for Mikel Arteta’s side.
At youth level the talented playmaker once again excelled, scoring 17 times from 20 appearances, including five against Crewe Alexandra in the 7-1 FA Youth Cup win in December.
He scored his first goals for our first-team with a brace against Bolton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup in 2024/25. His breakout campaign continued to sparkle, scoring his first Premier League goal against Nottingham Forest in November 2024. As well as netting the fifth in an incredible 5-1 win over Manchester City, Ethan also scored Champions League goals against Girona and PSV Eindhoven to help us reach the semi-finals of the competition.
He ended the season with nine goals across all competitions, our joint fifth highest scorer for 2024/25.
