He made his return from injury in our last Europa League match, and Calum Chambers feels the competition has benefitted our squad this season.
We topped Group H with a game to spare and, according to Chambers, the squad have particularly enjoyed experiencing the fervent atmospheres away from home.
“It’s amazing,” he told Arsenal Player. “Again they are experiences you add to your game, going away to different countries and playing in those environments. It’s great experiences and I think you can take a lot from them - the atmosphere, the crowd.
“It adds to your game. You keep adding things by playing in these situations so I think it’s very good for any young player to play in this competition.
“We’ve topped the group, we’ve qualified, so I think it’s been good.
“It’s game time for me at the moment. Hopefully I get some more game time on Thursday. It’s a competition we can all prove ourselves in and it’s one we want to go far in.”
