The fixture details for our Barclays Women’s Super League matches in November and December have now been confirmed following broadcast selections.
We begin November in the league with a trip to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester City on Sunday, November 6 (2pm kick-off). We ran out 5-0 winners in this fixture last season, with Beth Mead, Vivianne Miedema (2), Tobin Heath and an Ashleigh Plumptre own goal securing the three points for us.
Our other WSL match in November sees us return to Emirates Stadium to take on Manchester United on Saturday, November 19 (5.30pm kick-off). This will be our second WSL game of the season at the Emirates, where a record-breaking crowd of 47,367 watched Jonas Eidevall’s side defeated Tottenham Hotspur 4-0 in September.
We begin December with the visit of Everton to Meadow Park on Saturday, December 3 (2pm kick-off), having won the fixture 3-0 last season courtesy of goals from Katie McCabe, Lotte Wubben-Moy and Frida Maanum.
And our final WSL game before the winter break will see us travel to face Aston Villa at Villa Park on Sunday, December 11 (4.15pm kick-off). We won 4-0 at Villa last season, with Kim Little scoring a brace either side of goals from Mana Iwabuchi and Kate McCabe.
This fixture will be our last in the WSL until the New Year – but we will face two further games in the UEFA Women’s Champions League before we break off for Christmas.
