After beating Porto in the round of 16 to book our spot in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals for the first time since 2010, we were drawn against Bayern Munich in the last eight.
Mikel Arteta's men will be looking to seal a spot in the semi-final against Real Madrid or Manchester City should they beat the German giants, who have won the tournament on six occasions.
Here is everything we know about the game:
When will it take place?
The first leg will take place at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday, April 9 at 8pm BST, with the return fixture occurring a week later at Allianz Arena on Wednesday, April 17, also at 8pm BST (9pm local time).
What TV channel will it be on?
TNT Sports hold the rights to the Champions League in the United Kingdom, while the matches will be on Paramount+ in the USA. Meanwhile, Breakdown Live will also be live on Arsenal.com and the official app an hour before kick-off, helping hype you up for the big games with a host of great guests and in-depth analysis, plus live commentary of both legs.
For supporters wanting to see live action around the rest of the world, you can find out which channel is showing Champions League matches in your region.
Have we played each other before?
We have taken on Bayern 12 times in our history in competitive action, all of which have come in the Champions League. The first meeting was in December 2000 when we were pegged back from 2-0 ahead to draw 2-2 in the second group stage, before losing 1-0 in March 2000 in Munich.
Bayern have knocked us out of the competition on four occasions, all at the round of 16 stage. The first came in 2004/05 when despite a 1-0 win at Highbury, we lost 3-2 on aggregate. A 2-0 success at the Allianz Arena wasn’t enough to overturn a 3-1 loss in the first leg in 2013, while we also bowed out to the Germans in 2014 and 2017, which was the last time we faced off.
Our other meetings came in the group stage in 2015/16, when we won 2-0 at Emirates Stadium thanks to goals from Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil, the third and last time we beat Bayern.
What are the other quarter-final matches?
Arsenal v Bayern Munich
Atletico Madrid v Borussia Dortmund
Real Madrid v Manchester City
Paris Saint-Germain v Barcelona
The draw for the semi-finals has also taken place, and should we advance to the last four, we'll face either Real Madrid or Manchester City, with the first leg to take place at home.
