It was a performance to savour for Mikel Arteta on Sunday as we dominated Leicester City to claim a 3-1 win.
It was particularly satisfying as it came days after another comeback win, in Athens against Benfica, and our manager believes the results speak volumes about the team.
"I'm really proud for what the players have produced today after a really quick turnaround from Europe," Arteta told Arsenal.com.
"To come here against the level of the opposition that Leicester are and do what we've done. Going 1-0 down very early again [to come back] is terrific for them because it's a team that is dangerous when they are ahead.
"We never give up. We have to learn and improve that we cannot give anything to the opponent. Today, again, we gave them a goal in a situation where we know they're the most dangerous team in the league. When they have to counter in two passes, it's impossible to defend against them but after that I think we showed the right reaction.
"We looked really solid, composed, confident. We did what we had to do and I think we deserved the win."
