U18s preview: Arsenal v West Brom

Our youthful Gunners are poised to extend their winning streak to three matches as we host West Brom at the Sobha Realty Training Centre on Saturday, April 6, with kick-off scheduled for 12pm.

Currently sitting in fourth place, we've amassed 31 points from 17 games, trailing Tottenham by just a single point.

With our sights set on our third consecutive home fixture, Wilshere's squad enters this match brimming with confidence, having netted an impressive 13 goals in our last two outings. A resounding 8-3 victory over Crystal Palace was followed by a dominant 5-2 win against Fulham last week, providing ample momentum for our upcoming clash.

A look at West Brom

The Albion currently sit in ninth place with 17 points from 20 games. They enter this game on the heels of a 2-1 defeat against Crystal Palace last week, adding to their recent run of inconsistent form. They've failed to secure a win in their last three outings, suffering defeats against Crystal Palace and Leicester City, and settling for a draw against Aston Villa.

Reflecting on the earlier encounter this season, we salvaged a point when Osman Kamara netted an early second-half equaliser.

At the forefront of their attack is striker Eseosa Sule, who boasts an impressive tally of eight goals in 12 league appearances this season.

How to follow

We will provide updates throughout the game on our academy Twitter page, and there will be a match report published on Arsenal.com after the final whistle.

We will also share post-match interviews with Jack Wilshere and one of his young Gunners, as well as highlights of all the action.
