Arsenal Women

Trials open for Player Development Programme

Trials are now open for those looking to join our Arsenal Ladies Player Development Programme.

The programme (PDP) aims to support girls in their journey of football development, inspiring them to be the best that they can be. The PDP sits as part of the Arsenal Ladies Player Pathway and links closely to the Regional Talent Club, where we hold a Tier 1 status.

Across the region we will deliver Player Development Programme sessions across a 90-minute radius of the Arsenal Training Centre, providing an excellent environment for player development.

The player development programme will complement the football that your daughter already plays. We would encourage the PDP to be part of your daughter;s development, and for your daughter to play football in a variety of environments and settings.

Across the season, the PDP will provide:

  • 90-minute coaching sessions from September to April
  • Age appropriate festivals against other players of a similar level
  • Parent Workshops
  • Player Workbooks & learning journals
  • Resources to support parents and children on their football development journey
  • Tickets to Arsenal Ladies games in the 2017/18 season
  • Training kit

At the PDP we will create an environment that gives every girl the opportunity to be the best that they can be, both on and off the field. Our delivery will support the development of every girl not just technically, tactically and physically, but also in terms of social and psychological development, building confidence, team work and creativity.

The PDP has limited spaces, and will be looking to hold trials on July 29 and August 5 to recruit girls at the U-10, U-12, U-14 and U-16 age groups. We will be also holding a mop up trial later on in August, for anyone who can not make the original dates.

To register your daughter for her trial place, please click here and fill in the online form.

The deadline to complete the form is Friday, July 14.
