When Juventus travel to Meadow Park this weekend, not only will it be the biggest test of our pre-season so far, it will also be the first opportunity to see our summer recruits in action.
Lia Walti, Viktoria Schnaderbeck, Pauline Peyraud-Magnin and Tabea Kemme are the latest additions to Joe Montemurro’s side. But while Kemme is still recovering from injury, the others have a golden opportunity to showcase their talent against the Italian champions on Sunday.
“They’re amazing characters, amazing professionals and players that really want to play for the club,” Montemurro told Arsenal.com.
“They believe in the club and the direction that it’s heading and they’re world class players that we believe can bring us to the next level.
“We want to make this squad as competitive as possible for spots and we’ve obviously built a team that we believe is going to be very competitive.”
Kick off is at 2pm (UK Time) at Meadow Park on Sunday. A limited number of tickets will be available on the gate on the day.
