Team news: Two changes for City clash

The Arsenal changing room ahead of the game against Manchester City

Mikel Arteta has made two changes to our starting line-up for tonight’s game against Manchester City, with Jorginho and Takehiro Tomiyasu coming into the team.

The Italian international has been handed his first start since his January arrival from Chelsea as he replaces Thomas Partey, who has a tight muscle and is left out as a precaution, while Ben White drops down to the bench to make way for Tomiyasu.

Those are the first alterations to our starting line-up for seven league games, since the New Year’s Eve win against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Gabriel meanwhile will make his 100th appearance for the club - find out more about his achievement.

Pep Guardiola has made one tweak to his team that beat Aston Villa 3-1 on Sunday, with Nathan Ake - who got the only goal of the game when the sides met in the FA Cup 19 days ago - replacing Aymeric Laporte.
