Saka and Ramsdale receive England call-ups

Bukayo Saka celebrates scoring for England

Aaron Ramsdale and Bukayo Saka have been included in the England squad for next month’s Euro 2024 qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia.

The duo, who both recently signed new long-term contracts with us, are part of a 25-man squad that will aim to maintain the Three Lions’ 100 per cent start to their qualifying campaign after they beat Italy and Ukraine back in March.

England will travel to Malta on Friday, June 16 for their first game of the summer, before they return to these shores for the clash against North Macedonia three days later, which will take place at Old Trafford.

Bukayo will be hoping to add to his 26 caps in those games, having netted his eighth goal for his country in their last match against Ukraine at Wembley. Aaron meanwhile will be hoping Gareth Southgate gives him the opportunity to play for the first time in 12 months, when he won two of his three caps in matches against Hungary and Italy.
