Alessia Russo's fine effort against Chelsea has been voted by our supporters as the Emirates Goal of the Month for December.
The striker received a whopping 64 per cent of the votes to come out on top, with Martin Odegaard's strike against Wolves finishing in second spot, while Amario Cozier-Duberry's solo strike against PSV Eindhoven under-19s taking the bronze medal.
Alessia's goal came in the 38th minute of the game against the Blues in front of a packed Emirates Stadium to put us 3-1 up. A great pass by Lia Walti released the England striker, who raced past the defence and showed great composure to whip the ball past Ann-Katrin Berger into the far corner to send the crowd wild.
It was one of six nominees for the WSL's Goal of the Month for December.
