Alessia Russo has been nominated for the Barclays Women’s Super League Goal of the Month award for December.
Our centre-forward played a pivotal role in our 4-1 win over Chelsea at Emirates Stadium.
After putting us 3-1 up ahead of half-time with a composed counter-attacking finish, she finished the job with a second goal from the penalty spot in the 74th minute.
It's her first goal of the afternoon that has been nominated for the award.
The emphatic win saw Chelsea suffer defeat in the league for the first time this season.
