Martin Odegaard has scooped his first Player of the Month award of the season, as he was voted by our supporters as April’s winner.
Our skipper’s impressive displays saw him 68 per cent of the vote, with Gabriel Martinelli coming in second place, while Ben White placed third.
Martin was in fine form during the month, and continued to show his excellent eye for goal as he added another two to his name by scoring a well-taken volley at West Ham United before curling home from range to kickstart our comeback against Southampton.
An assist was also claimed when he clipped in a perfect pass for Granit Xhaka to head home against Leeds, and he boasted a passing accuracy of 86 per cent during his five appearances.
