Erling Halend made an instant impression of Martin Odegaard the first time he saw the young striker play.
The Norwegian international is one of the most talked about forwards in world football, so when did our attacking midfielder first notice him?
"My first memory with him was actually to watch him on TV," Odegaard told our official Twitter Q&A.
"I was watching him when he started playing in the league, but personally I think we played together for the first time with the under-21s against Germany and that’s where I met him. Since then we had a good connection on and off the pitch and we are close friends today.
"Erling kind of exploded you know, I remember watching him play against Brann, a Norwegian team, and he scored four goals, so that’s when I really noticed him for the first time. So I remember that game."
