Odegaard and Saka up for PL Player of the Month

Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka celebrate a goal

Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard have been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award for November and December.

The duo's displays in our wins over Chelsea, Wolves, West Ham United and Brighton & Hove Albion have seen them included on the shortlist for the prize, which takes into account performances either side of the World Cup.

Bukayo assisted our goal at Stamford Bridge, before returning from Qatar with strikes against the Hammers and Seagulls, while our captain bagged a brace against Wolves as well as ram home his seventh of the season at the Amex Stadium. He also made three other goals during the period, making him the player with the most goal involvements in the two months combined.

They are up against Manchester United pair Marcus Rashford and Casemiro, Manchester City's Erling Haaland, Ben Mee of Brentford, Newcastle United right-back Kieran Tripper and Joao Palhinha who has starred for Fulham, with supporter votes contributing to the final result.
