Bacary Sagna is confident that a full pre-season campaign will help him get back to his very best form.
The France international came on midway through the second half as Arsenal began the Asia Tour 2013 with a comprehensive 7-0 victory against the Indonesia Dream Team.
Sagna provided two assists for compatriot Olivier Giroud and he says the team thoroughly enjoyed their stay in Jakarta.
"I'm looking forward to getting back to my best - that's my aim and after that we'll see"
“I think it's great for us to come here and to visit Indonesia is something different,” he told Arsenal Player. “I think we played well. We managed to keep the ball, pass it and create chances. We have to stay positive and we have to keep working.
“The guys did well in the first half - it was not easy because [the Indonesia Dream team] were full of power. In the second half they were a bit tired so it means they achieved a great job and we managed to take advantage of it.
“I'm very happy. Last year I missed pre-season so I was struggling a bit during the season. I'm looking forward to getting back to my best - that's my aim and after that we'll see.”
