Kieran Gibbs believes Mesut Ozil can take Arsenal to "the next level".
The German playmaker was a prominent figure as Arsene Wenger's side sealed their seventh straight victory by beating Stoke City 3-1 on Sunday - laying on all three goals.
Gibbs says Ozil has added extra class to a talented squad and feels the team has the components needed for a successful season.
"You look at Mesut, he's going to come in and take us to the next level," Gibbs said.
"We're in good form, even from the back end of last season. We need to keep that going"
"You've got players who have played last year [too, like] Santi. We've got a mixture of pace and quality. At the top, Olivier looks like an animal this year so far. I feel like the team is well balanced.
"[Aaron Ramsey] has a golden boot at the moment. He's always been that kind of player and we knew he had the qualities.
"It's strange because when you look at his play over the last couple of seasons, he's always been that little bit off from scoring.
"It's like his luck has changed. He's always had the quality and now he's become a world-class player. We always knew he had it in him. He's showing that this year. He's becoming a vital member of the squad.
"I felt like it was an early season blip [against Aston Villa]. We have responded well in all competitions.
"It's important for us to keep that going now. We're in good form, even from the back end of last season. We need to keep that going.
"I'm excited by the quality of the squad. When the players that are out at the moment come back in, it looks positive for us. I feel the team is getting stronger."
