"With Ox I’ve played with him for quite a number of years now," Welbeck told Arsenal Player. "We’re always talking on and off the pitch about getting that link up going.
"So he kind of knows where I’m going to be and I know where he wants to put the ball as well, so it’s nice.
"It [the win] is a boost but it’s something we’ve got to build on. We’ve still got quite a few games left until the end of the season so we’ve got to build on this performance today and take it further.
"It’s something we’ve got to take game-by-game. It’s going to be very difficult. I think now this game’s behind us we’re going to rest and recover and get ready for the game on Wednesday."
