Boss on Man City, FA Cup and top four

Arsene Wenger faced the media at London Colney on Thursday, and was asked about the Emirates FA Cup semi-final draw.

We will face Manchester City at Wembley Stadium, and the boss gave his reaction and also discussed finishing in the top four in the Premier League.

This is what he said:

on drawing Manchester City…
It’s a tough challenge but it promises to be a very exciting game as well because it’s two teams who will try to go into the game in a very positive move, and go for it. It should be a very promising offensive game.

on whether it’s been a happier week at the club…
Yes.

on why it's been a good week…
When you don’t win a game you have an unhappy week. That’s part of our job, that’s why you care about results. When you don’t have the results you want, of course it’s not a happy week.

on the protests before Lincoln…
I have nothing to say about that anymore. Every press conference is about that and we have talked enough about that. I’ve talked enough about that.

on bonuses for finishing in the top four…
We keep our rules of contracts internal. We don’t have absolutely to say. There’s always bonuses yes, for achievements. When you pay bonuses, it means if you don’t achieve, you don’t get the bonuses.
