A much-improved second-half performance was the catalyst for our win over Preston North End in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday.
After a disappointing first 45 minutes, Aaron Ramsey’s first goal of the season brought us level seconds after the restart. Olivier Giroud completed the turnaround in the 89th minute on an evening where Danny Welbeck made his long-awaited return from injury.
